Reading HavenMap2

I'm using http://algeralith.info/HavenMap2/ to try to find my location but am having trouble. Is North on HavenMap straight up or upper right like it is in game?

It's the same as the mini-map in game. Walking North on the world map or your mini-map is walking diagonally up and right in game.

North is North everywhere. Seriously, look at your minimap. On the overhead screen, the angle is tilted so that North is to the NorthEast corner now is all.
