Nettle Clothing

I've known that wearing Nettle clothes reduces your agility yet gives you Survival.
I was wondering..when hunting with ranged would it be a good idea to first remove nettle clothing?
I'm aware it's "lowbie" thus I question..is it even worth wearing under my leather armor?

I could be wrong because I'm not well versed in the combat system of the game, but I don't think agility has anything to do with ranged combat.

Nettle clothing is a great newbie item because it's an easy way to quickly pump up your survival (you can wear 2 layers of each clothing, meaning that you can easily get +12 survival, if you're comfortable enough running around in the wilderness without any leather armor on).

That idea actually never occurred to me, that's interesting.
I would be a little nervous running around without at least my leather on though.
Would that +12 bonus to survival assist me at all after killing saw...a wild sheep?
Would it add to the quality of the meat or..anything?

Survival affects the quality of certain tools you create, the product you receive upon butchering an animal, the quality of items you forage for the wilderness, and a bunch of other random things.

At the very least it's good to have 2 pair of each to throw on before you butcher a boar or craft a new bonesaw or whatever.

Agility doesn't affect ranged combat at all, so for hunting at range it would be meaningless. In you were in melee, then it increases the speed at which you use combat abilities. It would not be worthwhile taking your clothes off for hunting at a range. Please wear leather armor when hunting though, as even a q10 set of pants, boots, and chest armor will reduce a boars damage to only piercing (~15) per hit rather than 100+. This will save your life.
