Problem with my cows and sheep :(

For some reason, both cows, and the sheep are eating (or at least both bars are at the top) but all of them for some reason have the "Food Eaten: Quality 10". (Right when we put the food through, the average quality was 12+, now is at 18)

They are not on claimed terrain yet, (It's all palisaded, dont worry). Does that have an influence? Do they have need more space? Am I being impatient?

It takes a long time for their food quality eaten to rise and doesn't really matter as long as you keep it at 10 for q10 animals. When you have higher quality animals, higher quality fodder is a must though so you don't hurt any the quality of their products.

Thanks for the quick answer, and another fast question, the wiki says that the sheep as soon as it's tamed will yield 5 units of wool, but I couldnt get any there, and no wool right now either? Am I doing it wrong?

I can't remember if mine were shearable when I first tamed them or not, I'm leaning toward "not" but I really can't remember. They are after not very long, at least... make sure you have a tool equipped with a sharp edge, like a stone axe. Then right-click on them, you should get "info" "butcher" and "shear" if you can get wool from it.

The wiki is wrong. You're not doing it wrong, they have no wool starting.
