killing a bear with not losing LP?

So is there a way to kill a bear with mm from a boat with not losing all the lp?
killing boar is easy, when he starts to run, you just have to chase and punch him one time. but bears run alooot faster, and one punch is isnt enough even with 90ua..

Ya, trap it first. Setup a signpost trap, pull it into it, and close the trap. With 90 UA you should be able to take its first hit without losing any SHP or a very small amount of SHP. Once you've closed the trap, Avast and kill it.

Once it starts running, just hop off the boat and sit on land where he was. Don't chase the bear, just wait. It should run off to the edge of its aggro range - Then come running back, still in passive mode. It's kind-of cheap, but it works. The trick is to not move, as that can throw off where it runs and returns to and actually BREAK combat, costing you delicious LP. At which point it will come back with clear intent to maul your face off.

That mostly works well if you're in melee to begin with Gatekeeper, since it's not a free shot at its HP and it'll begin to run again shortly so you won't have time to aim for a good shot. I suppose if you had the patience for it to run back and forth enough, you could eventually kill it like that with ranged attacks.

try using a sling If you arn't already using one
