Animal kilings while asleep outside?

Is it possible for a wild animal such as a boar or bear to kill you if you're asleep in a bed outside?

No. Unless you were in combat when you logged out, you disappear from the map when offline. You can be killed by other players if you committed a crime tho (just saying since it's somewhat relevant)

apparently sitting in a chair makes you undetectable by boars, recently lost a character to a boar while building but a friend was nearby snoozing in a chair and the boar wandered by him several times and never attacked him, but attacked me though i was further away

it's random, at least from my experience. I've walked through the forests many a time not wanting to fight a boar and they'll charge me head on right from the get go. Other times I'll want to die to kill of a noob character, but he'll just stand there and do nothing.
