I was using java fine when playing on my laptop...but it's now damaged.

been trying to log onto the game on my deskptop and it wont work, just says its unable to open the game, even though i have the latest java installed.

is the game currently down? or do i need a diffrent client to access it? what can i use?

If it's a java issue, using custom clients won't help you, since as far as I know they all must be java based anyway.

You might have luck by uninstalling any old versions of java, and re-downloading it fresh, then trying again.

Also, if you're running off an old shortcut or .jnlp file on your desktop, make sure you have the latest client downloaded.

Also-also... use the search function on the forums. There is a large amount of help here for those "WTF?" moments.

how would i know if i was working on an old shortcut or .jnlp file or my desktop?

i have the newest java updated just before logging on. so i dont think java is the issue.

i am not great with computers so if u can let me know how i can check the desktop thing, it might be the problem since the desktop i'm currently using is very...very..old

then message saying it's unable to launch the game

I used to get this before, but it was only when the game was down. so it would come and go.

But this has been the same message i've gotten since yesterday evening.

Is my location a problem now?? I'm just trying to figure out what other reasons could cause it not to work
