Best way to kill deer?

My mm is 30 but as most of you know deer heal a shit ton after being hit, I'm super experienced but my character is decently progressed. Should I go melee or unarmed to kill the deer? any suggestions would be great.

Shoot the deer until it runs away, it will then heal itself and come back. This is easy to do with a bow. When it comes back, it will be peaceful, engage it in melee here as it will not fight back anymore. Even with really weak UA, you can build up 26-28 initiative and full combat advantage. Opportunity Knocks x4 and Valor Strike it if you have a sword, otherwise Cleave if all you have is a stone axe. You're shooting for a 1 hit kill so it cannot continue to heal itself.

What i do to kill deer is trap them against the river bank and shoot them till they want to run then get out and use move invocation of skulled and oppurtunity knocks and then just punch away and it should kill the deer. but wait till you have around 50 ua to do that.
