Hey there,

I'm trying to make a high q boar tusk helmet, but would like to know what skills are involved.

Greetings, Anasky.

The main skill you will need for this is WIKIREADING. :)

EDIT: That skill costs unreasonable amount of LP though. Try to bucketgrind for it.

Sewing and dexterity probably act as a softcap but I'm only guessing here.

Skill(s) Required Leather Working
Sewing
Increases the softcap a character has on the quality of leather and silk items that are crafted.
You cannot craft items of a higher quality rating using sewing recipes higher than your skill value (sqrt(Dexterity*Sewing)).

I saved you some LPs for the WIKIREADING skill, you can now invest it into QQing. That is also useful skill. On the forum especially.

EDIT: Why on hell did I take the BABYSITTING skill :/

Leather quality is determine by the quality of the tanning tubs, dried skin, bark, and water. Skin quality is determined by your carving tool, the animal, the animals level, and your survival skill. Bones are similar to skins but they are not affected by your carving tool. Tanning tubs are determined by your Carpentry and your saw. I believe that is all of the incremental skills?
