Friends living together without Lawspeaking?

3 noob friends and I took over some abandoned houses and have been living in them without any security.

We're thinking about making a place of our own but can't figure out how to work it. We're too noob to afford Lawspeaking. And it seems that with Yeomancy, if one of us claims the land, the others can't do anything unless that claimant is online. Is there a better way to work this or do we need to rush Lawspeaking?

get yeomanry change the friends color to blue in the claim menu set blue to do trespassing vandalism and theft, its like a village claim but only u can walk on it and such.

The person who sets up personal claim can give certain rights to other people on his contact list. If done properly, I believe that all of you would have full rights on everything within the claim. At least try it, any LP invested in a personal claim is returned once (if) you declaim the area.

Right, but the wiki says that even if I give them permissions for trespassing/vandalism/theft, they only get those permissions while I am online. Or is this not true and they can steal/build/etc even when I am offline?

not true, i own lots of alnd and my pals do everythign and anythign while im offline.

I've never tried it with other people but I can move freely and take stuff with my alt when on my main's property. I'm just not sure if it's because it's the same account or because of the given roles.

Assigning your friends permissions gives them different amounts of freedom on your land.
Trespassing lets them walk on it and open containers freely.
Theft lets them take and move items freely.
Vandalism lets them build and destroy items freely.

How much you trust to them is up to you but your plan on having a large personal claim works AOK if you're good friends.
