Okay, so i noticed that people keep going on about a client download for this where is it? Also how do you know which world you are playing on? or how do you find out? Finally, What is so great about modified clients? Do they actually make gameplay any better? or does it just make it easier? Thanks.

Main client download is the big "Play" button at the top. Modded clients are in the suggestions forums, just beneath the "Bugs" area.

We are -all- on World 4. World 1/2/3 are previous worlds, think of them as out-dated versions of what we play now. Basically HnH 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and now we sit at 4.0.

The play button downloads the client, otherwise you wouldn't be able to play. Change your download settings to save the java file and make a desktop icon from it.

Custom clients make gameplay easier. No, wait. Basically non-custom clients puts you on disadvantage, to say something. It's pretty much the same though.

They may or may not make gameplay better for you. Popular modded clients have such features as Night-Vision, so as to eliminate your need for torches and candles, and X-Ray, to allow you to see through trees and other such obstructions for the things that hide behind them.

As for how to get your own copy of a modified client, I suggest you check this thread and follow the steps in order to get yours working.

Gilbertus is perhaps most popular. Or Ender's. Either are used widely by the community I believe. Personally, Ender's.
