I *think* I know this one... I'm pretty sure the red bar is its current hunger (full is better), and the brown one is basically an overall bar for if it's been starved or not... as the red bar drains, you'll start losing some from the brown bar, and it's permanent, and if it empties the animal dies. I *think*! If I'm wrong though please let me know, because I'd love to know. XD
The wiki says cows take 4.5 days to give birth, not sure if that's accurate or if it's somewhat random. But it should be about that. They don't always get pregnant *right* away though. (I do wish pregnant animals had some sort of note about it on their info screen.)
I have a couple questions of my own that I'll add since it's related, if anyone reads this far: Can males impregnate females if they're kept in side-by-side pens only separated by a roundpole fence? I haven't seen my animals, ah, breeding since I started penning them separately, whether they're separate or I put them together temporarily to breed, so I'm wondering what's going on there. :/
Also, do cows ever "dry up" after they've given birth, like they do in the real world? Or once they've had a calf, are they forever giving milk?
