im taming a cow, i've done call the thunder, ive sidesteped it, blow the flames or whatever, and managed to queer the best and get 20 tame points, but now, after called the thunder again to win IP, blown the flames again, i just can't seem to quell it. The attack just won't wor, even though i have more than 2 IP. what am i missing here?

did you do it like that: 1.quell 2.wait till it attacks you again 3.quell it again
i quelled it, the cow managed to escape, came after me, dunno if it wanted to attack or just follow me around, i ran to my boat, and managed to trap it again. Now, i can't seem to be able to use the quell attack. When inside the fence, the cow won't attack me, not even when im standing right next to it.
Al this time the cow's still enganged in combat with me though. The avatar and the two swords standing in the top right corner and all that shit...
Are you leaving a space in the corner for you to be able to hit it? Or are you inside a fence with it or something? For sidestep and devour the flames you need to be in melee range, which means you can't have a fence between you. Also make sure you have *full* combat advantage, and no combat intensity.
Im facing the cow, there's nothing between us. 0 combat intensity, full combat advantage, i jus't cant quell it again. The cow won't attack me. i'm also enganged in combat with some other cow, trapped, which does attacks me, everytime i go near it.
In the guides it says i need to wait a certain time for the cow to aggro again (which i assume is to attack me) well, i've waited for more than a fucking hour now, im breaking a record here or what?
The only thing I can think of is that I've seen mention that if someone else aggros the cow first, that can cause problems like that. (Can quell the aurochs once, but not after that.) And if there's only one other aurochs around, I'm guessing that's probably the case (since every herd I've seen has been larger, which implies someone picked a few off/tamed some before you got there).
