Missing Armor?

Woke up today to find my precious metal armor no longer on my person.

Is it possible to steal armor off a sleeping person?

If not, is this a bug?

No, you can't steal off of/kill sleeping people (unless they use criminal acts and you summon/kill them).

Are you sure it was there when you went to sleep? Armor takes damage as you take damage, and eventually vanishes.

Entirely possible you had commit a crime, were summoned, and they simply KO'd you and looted your body rather than killing you. That was nice of them.
