make a mine

ive been playing a few days i love the game still not found any animal bones to make a saw for wood but i wanna make a mine and there are no mines near me ive got the mining skill and can also make a shaft thing for a mine but need metal but i was wondering wih no one who plays near me whats the best way for me to start making a mine could someone tell me please ?

A bone saw is the most basic item in-game, you shouldn't even think about getting mine before you get a saw.

i can't find any animals apart from frogs and wasps ive walked for hours looking for dead bodies of animals but non and i have now 4 exploration skill

You'll need to find dozens of animals before you even think about making a mine.

Seriously. Mining should be towards the very end of your todo list.

There are no wasps. The things you're seeing as wasps are probably ants which have strayed from their anthill.

thy are haha how many unarmed skill should i have before raiding them also whats the basic animal to kill for bones ?

10 unarmed will allow you to survive the initial attack while raiding a anthill. Bunnies and chickens are the easiest animals to kill for bones. Chickens aren't found on forrest terrain though.

rabbits are super fast i just tried catching up to one wow they go like the wind i just resopawned near my heart of fire thing and look what i found a lot of chickens really close to where i live all of a sudden

Don't right click a rabbit or chicken unless you are right next to them, and then when you have a free 2x2 space in your inventory.
