Logs by cliffs

I cut down a tree down and it cut one of the logs right on the edge of the cliff. Now it won't allow me to lift it or chop it into blocks or anything.. Will it just stay there for all eternity or is there something I can do?

It's stuck there and there's not much to do about it. Same goes for logs getting stuck in anything else. The only way to get stuck logs is to destroy the item it is stuck in.

If you're OCD like me then just don't cut down trees that you know will land on ledges.

Logs actively detriment nothing besides your taste in aesthetics and having log decay would severely hinder tree farming as you'd either have to use up all of your logs or not harvest a crop. So no, they shouldn't.

Plus they would hurt my hippies world wide like myself.

I really don't mind if some newbie clear cuts the forest down the way,I'll just swing a wagon over there cause it means fewer trees I have to cut in / around my village.
