Mining rocks? In a Mine?

OK so I am Full Industry, and I prospected and found Iron, I made a Mine Hole, i start to mine, I get ore, lots of ore, most of it turned out to be rocks.. no biggie to be expected. I get further along in my mine, and I start to mine, no ore, but stones start to appear at my feet, like the one you chip off of rocks. I have asked some of my friends in game who have mines that they work in, and they have never had this happen. Is it a glitch? My Inventory is empty, except for my keyring.


I did search the forums for an answer but I didn't find one.

Whenever you mine rocks out they should fall to the floor. I don't think quality of the rocks matters but I may be mistaken. Mining ore makes the ore go directly to your inventory.
