MM Vs. Melee PVP

Postby Rindelas » Tue Mar 01, 2011 3:09 am

As the title says.. What are the strengths of each? Are all three viable? Is one better than the others?

Any info. on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Marksmanship won't do the job against high tier equipment.

Well i'm new to all this but.

It was explained to me that MMS isn't really viable in 1V1 PVP combat, unless you are both marksman. Even then the oposite marksman might choose to use unarmed against you making it very hard to get a shot in.

I'd love to see some comments on this though

MM is more of an auxiliary combat stat. It is very useful for a combat group to have an archer or two, but all close combat attacks disrupt aim, so unless you have a redonk high MM skill you won't get a shot off if someone rushes you. Best bet for pvp right now is UA, and like I said if you have a group then a marksmen is great. Note that this is very different than if you're a lone sniper staying hidden from your targets (unlikely with the amount of custom client using players).
Today is a good day to die.
