how many points in UA am i looking at to be able to fight and kill boars and how much to eventually kill bears?

Read Dataslycer's Guide. Probably ~80 UA to fight boars safely. Less if you're good, more if you're bad.

Bears are about ~160? 120 if you use ants to charge up your maneuvers.

at full peaceful you can kill them at 80 - This is however unrealistic if you have no combat experience (Excluding foxes and Ants) - You will also need some good armor, fight boars with a helm instead of a bear cape.

The main thing is DON'T let them gain advantage.

I use dash and death or glory to gain IP, remembering to use Oaken Stance and slide when your Defence is 3 quaters depleted. Continue until you have 6 or more IP if you want to gian Advantage and use punch/flex/Bloodlust - then Knock his teeth out, once you think it will be a killing blow. if you're quick enough the boar won't gain advantage.

If you can't beat them that way, it's usually because they're gaining too much advantage, try gaining more IP and using Invocation of Skuld/sidestep to gain advantage. - this takes longer but is much safer.

Possibly, if you've got some guts and some q20 leather armor/pants/boots/boar helmet. You'd want to engage 3-6 ants ahead of time in combat, death or glory them all then invoke skuld or sidestep to get max advantage on each of them. Get to 10 intensity, have them expend their attack power, then kite them and keep them close. Engage the bear -- he will break through your defenses in 1 swing and do damage. He will rapid attack you, so immediately get into oak stance so the ants can recharge your defense to full. He won't be able to break that without charging up first, buying you some time. Use Bloodlust/Combat meditation in conjunction to rapid punch the bear until his defense is gone. He will break your defense once or twice more. Grit through it, build your defense back up to full with oak stance each time, and get 5 weak punches off on him so you can get full combat advantage. It is vital you have a sword on or 100+ strength for the finisher though. Bring him down by 400-600hp with punches but DO NOT GET HIM TO FULL RAGE MODE, aka 200 or less hp. If you full rage him, he will just kill you in one blow. Build up 6 Initiative, punch him once more to break his defense, then Valor Strike or Knock His Teeth Out to kill him in one final step WITHOUT making him go full rage. It will have messed your armor up pretty good and taken a chunk out of your HP, but you just solo wrestled a bear.

If you understand what you are doing and got all fighting skills 65 is enough.

For punch/dodge combat with boar you might need 150+
