Double Gate for Oxcart?

Postby Krugz » Sat Mar 05, 2011 10:22 am

I've been trying to find it on the forums, but so far I haven't seen anything..

How do you make a double gate for an oxcart? I've definitely seen palisades with them, and I've heard rumors of there being some sort of glitch, but I can't seem to find any more information. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Hmm, thanks TechXKnight. :)

Do you know if this somehow magically works with 1 key or do you have to have both keys on you and open each door separately?

If you use a battering ram to destroy one of the center cornerpost, wouldn't it pass on damage to the cornerpost next to it and destroy that too?

You will have to have two keys and open them separately. For all intents and purposes, they are two individual gates.

The fact that you have two cornerposts at once means that you're doing it wrong. You should only have one cornerpost at a time and shortly after its been made, it should be destroyed. Nothing should ever be connected to them.

So it doesn't pass on damage on the gate if the gate is still a construction post?

If the first gate is a construction post, you're doing it wrong. Please re-read the instructions more carefully.
If the second gate is a construction post, it will be fine.

I was just concerned that the 2nd gate (being a construction post) might break when the other center cornerpost is to be destroyed.

Someone should make more detailed instructions than that... >_>
