I dried probably over 100 WWWs from forest, heaths and moors and never get hemp seeds.

what are the chances of geeting hemp when drying WWWs?

can you improve the chances by picking WWW of a specific terrain?

Travel further away to get WWWs. Your immediate region likely just doesnt have them.

Terrain is irrelevant, it's all about map coordinates. Specifically, WWWs from same 100x100 tile area tend to produce the same seeds. So I advise you to go gather WWWs in a place where you haven't done so yet.

Do note that there's another option. Trading. If you can figure out where you are on the map you can post in Apples for Oranges. It'll cost you if you want decent seeds, but I'd think mediocre quality ones would be easily tradeable for some leather.
