Underground Fish

How often does this occur? I was amazed when wandering through this new cavern to see a fish jump out of a small lake in here.

Didn't have my fishing rod with me at the time, but next time I go back there I shall!

Fairly commonly in deep cave water. Can't give you an exact number though.

Interesting... Well I hope the cave near my own place ends up having water / fish when we can get into it.

It depends on the cave but if your cave has shallow water, as far as I know, there are no fish in shallow cave water. Deep water in caves is treated like deep lake water. I have caught eel/pike/roach etc that you would normally find in a surface deep lake spot.
