~5-15 minutes if you're offline, off-screen, or indoors.

really?

I noticed that animals respawn in whole world at the same time, and not related with specific account...
but I can't figure out how often.

When you're not on-screen, the game unloads an area. Once you re-enter the area it reloads the area with new spawns, such as foragables and animals. You can also despawn foragables and animals like this.

A friend told me that the perfect Time to hunt bear is after the game crashed. Maybe because no one is online during that time, like it's said above.

In theory that wouldn't make sense to me. When you enter an area where no one is, it loads fresh forageable/animals. As long as you're hunting in areas where no one else is, there shouldn't be a difference. However rivers are used by quite a few people, and spawns probably don't always have time to despawn. Not to mention bears are the first to go.

I think it's more a product of less people being online the moment you're trying to hunt. Especially for populated areas.

Make note that an area doesn't immediately unload when it goes off of your screen, but takes some time. So if that animal / foragable just slipped out of your sight for a split second you still have hope.

On a semi-related note:

Am I the only one to notice that lakes never have animals near the shore? It's very rare compared to rivers. That might just be a perception based on the fact that there is way more river than there is lake..

Makes me wonder if I just get unlucky near lakes, maybe higher populations tend to be around lakes, or maybe some places have better spawn rates than others..
