Extending to lower levels

So this is an interesting idea I had to try and essentially extend a VC to lower levels. I wanted to see if there would be any problems with the idea.

So the idea is to have brickwall up around your minehole and have a Crossroads going out so that way you can have increased security across all levels.

The idea is to start a village on the lower level with an alt as the Lawspeaker and let the authority drain out of the idol.

The questions are:
1. Can you build Crossroads on an authority-less village's claim (the LS of course) and use them?
2. If I remember correctly you can use an authority-less village won't cause you to leave scents for taking things (maybe different for vandalism related crimes), can some confirm this?
3. Is this mildly practical? The main concern is shutting down mining production for a while (if you care about leaving scents), but this allows for Crossroad security underground and if you wanted to you could extent it and allow for quick travel underground (though this maybe too impractical).

1.) Yes

2.)Yes, under 50k authority or something villages lose all claim-like properties and you will not leave any vandalism or theft scents.

3.)It can be, though it's not quite as secure as keeping authority in the satellite village. As long as you have an alt acting as lawspeaker, the only problem is that authority objects can be destroyed by hand (including the idol), and if your CRs aren't also secured people can destroy them at will. You don't have to wait for authority to drain if you don't want to by joining and leaving the village until it loses enough authority. If you went with this route because you don't have the time or care to switch villages periodically, I would suggest this area also be enclosed by a personal claim and to be sure you have a way to get through encase something happens to your CRs.

#2 is wrong, it still prevents decay and such. But anyone can steal / destroy on it.
