How Long Till Animals Dissappear?

If an animal is not killed, it eventually disappears, even if it's inside a fenced area and thus did not wander off. How long does this take? If for example you've managed to get a dangerous animal inside a barricade with your hearth, how long do you need to wait until it's safe to login there again?

I think an hour of no-one seeing it at all.

I think it's somewhere around 15 minutes after you last saw them.

No, it's not that they'd log out after 20 minutes (that's just the despawning of animals when they aren't seen be anyone), ... relation is set in "give up" mode when a player logs out, it will disappear if both log out, and thus both will be allowed to actually stop playing. ...

Hmm - I didn't log out in a combat relation with the boar, if that's what you (Loftar) mean - I ducked into a house and logged out there. I'm just worried that the next person who logs in there might be another newb, and get trashed even worse than I was.

Well combat doesn't really matter so much. The fact is that after about 20 minutes of not being seen by anyone, the boar should disappear.
