So I am having a heck of a time in the new world.

I can't seem to make boards!
I have a bone saw, I have lumberjack.

What am I missing?

double check that you caught the rabbit yourself, and made the bone saw yourself. also at that point i had already turned a tree to blocks, not sure if that helps as well.

Ah! I didn't make the saw myself just found the bone.

This brings up a good point: Newbies can't just loot to get some progress in the game. They have to find things on their own, too.

I made boards fine out of a saw that was handed to me by a friend.
