Okay i just got boat building and theres no menu for it? am i missing something?

It's starnge, i removed a stump and boat appeared

Was this the first time you had a block of wood in your inventory? For something to appear in your menu, you must have had one of each item required to make it in your inventory.

you lucky thing, well i removed a stump and the option to build one appeared so back to chopping

Ah the plot thickens, and the misteries of world five make a little more sense, thanks , but... how do you know what you need if you cant access the menu? if you are building something new, does this mean trawling the wiki?

I had blocks in inventory before. I made them from logs.

Maybe the stump is an odd bug trigger for a boat no one has noticed because everyone tries removing a stump at least once? I don't have boat building myself right now, so I can only offer suggestions.
