Bear Cape

I killed bear yesterday, and i want today to create a Bear Cape. I dont know why but i cant ;[

You needed to be the one to collect the bear hide from the drying rack, gather the bones for the bear teeth, and you need clothes making.

no, you don't need cloth making, i made my first bear cape after i collect bones from bear and get dryed bear hide from drying frame, all this must be done by you

You must be the one to collect the bones from the dead bear, teeth as well. -and- you must pick the dried fur off of the drying rack yourself.

I'm having the same problem. Killed a bear, collected its bones and dried its hide all on one character and got LP for discovering each item, but neither bear tooth talisman nor bear cape show up on my crafting menu.

Either there's some sort of bug with recognizing those items or a different skill is required. Maybe Ancestral Worship or one of the combat skills? I could try it, but I'd rather not go blindly spending my LP...

You need Leather Making and Hearth Magick, and have discovered Dried Bear Hide and Bear Teeth.

i too kill bear, and too cant made Bear Cape (yes, i learned Hearth magic and leather working..)

I figured out why it doesnt appear in the leatherworking tab. sometimes when your collecting bones off the bear and your inventory is full, the teeth or bones will drop to the ground. And when you pick them up they are not counted as discovered.

You have to make sure you have enough space for the teeth when you collect bones so they don't drop to the ground, otherwise you're going to have to kill another bear to discover them.
