I've just started playing, and I have to say, I'm so impressed

So far I've been picking up skills fairly randomly, and for attributes I've just been increasing exploration - at the moment it is at 6. Any advice on what skills would be good to pick up for a wandering hobo type character? I'm thinking boatbuilding will mean I can move around a lot faster, and also get the bark boat curio, but I'm also wondering if I should spend LP on unarmed combat attribute, so I can raid anthills and stuff...
What do you guys think I should focus on first? Any ideas are welcome

Here is my character for reference:
