Beyond the invisible border.

So what exactly is beyond the invisible border at the edge of the world. I have seen animals walking around in it, things to forage on the ground. Is this just extended a map or 2 for cosmetic looks, or can the world be expanded randomly one day.

Loftar said the invisible barrier was temporary, and would be replaced by a minecraft-esque infinite world.

What I said was that new map would be automatically generated as the barrier is approached. However, it seems that the current consensus have rather drifted to be that a limited world is more fun, so I haven't bothered implementing that.

a cool thing to do would be make the world round>as a figure of speech> so instead of having invisible borders a hearthling would simply reach the point where instead of being at the top of the world he is now at the bottom.

It wouldn't be a ball if they wrapped it anyway, it'd be a torus :geek:
