How can I find a suitable place for a chair ?

I used to play this game for a while and I don't remember any kind of limitations on where you can build chairs.
Still, I've been trying tons of terrains (paved, dirt, grassland, plowed...) and I still get the message "You cannot build that here" when I try to build a chair.
What am I doing wrong ?

Yeah they added limitations to indoor-style furniture.

The table can be carried outside. It only needs to be built inside.

I don't like the change myself, but neither do I like table being the second thing built in game. I want people to build a house before they get a table. I know this is a somewhat clunky way of accomplishing that.

I think part of the point is that a house should be a big priority so that you CAN use things like chairs.

I can see tables, but really chairs are mainly INTENDED to be used outside (quicker stamina recovery while working). Kind of dumb to limit them too.
