What happened to taproots?

I have 10*10 rating and can't see a damn one anywhere and have been traveling for an hour.
I thought that by 10*10 that you saw every single taproot?

Edit: btw i don't have any skills learned that use string so maybe that is my problem...?

got problem solved
after seeing several raided anthill i figured i was following someone. so headed a different direction and found foragables. :lol:
