What happens to the village if the law speaker dies?

If the law speaker dies anyone can walk up to the village claim in question and take the lawspeaker postion by right clicking it.

Might be kind of a given but it should be noted that u have to have lawspeaking to take LS of the village

IF a Lawspeaker of a village dies, as long there is other villagers in the village : Any villager can take the Lawspeaker post as long they have the skill.

IF there is no one but the Lawspeaker (who died) in village : You have to wait till the Auth drops ot below 50k before ANYONE with lawspeaking skill can take the position of Lawspeaker of the villager. (Do note you can destroy the idol below 50k auth)

Not if you are the chieftain. Tried that last world and since I was the chieftain I could not become the lawspeaker although I had lawspeaking.

Actually you will need Vandalism as you are altering a piece of village property, Tresspassing is never nessary to enter a Village.
