Does happiness affect your survival?

Postby killette2 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 5:38 am

Hi, I'm new to H&H and this is also my first forum post.

I've been playing for about 2 days and I'm getting the hang of things, and building my own village with my partner. Suddenly while working I noticed my happiness started dropping WAY faster than usual, atleast 1 every 5 seconds. So far I am at about -46 happiness so I logged off and did some research. The wiki says that happiness does not affect your survival but I would like this confirmed.

Also if it doesn't, then does happiness even serve a purpose or is it there just to show how happy you are?

Also, you were probably near a skeleton.

That DOES explain alot, since I drug a skeleton near my base as a threatening decoration.

Are skeletons bad at all?

A bit off topic but... I like decorating with skeletons and pumpkins. Gives a place a Halloween feel. Also, run around in a pumpkin mask. People get real friendly...

The skeletons and pumpkins make for interesting decor, but yeah, some griefers in previous worlds liked to raid while wearing pumpkin masks. (Kinda why I was trying to imply a joke.)
