Trees Q stage 3

If i have trees at lets say stage 3 and i take branches and seed from them, will they regenerate their goods upon gaining stage 4? And will taking stuff hamper their growth? Or should i always take all the stuff at stage 3 and stage 4 at least?

They should regenerate some of the taken products, as the decay timer will cause them to both regenerate materials as well as grow. Taking materials should not impede growth, only objects obstructing the trees should. Taking everything at the early stages is likely inadvisable as they will not regenerate everything by the time they reach maturity and you'll have cheated yourself of a few higher quality materials.

AFAIK trees refill everything when they grow a stage.
