where am i?

so i'm wandering around the world, and i want to get to my friend, but i have no idea where i am in the world in relation to him, is there some type of map i can look at or something? or a large world map?

Best thing to do if your charater is new...

Start a new charater and in the creation room go to the guy in the corner, He should ask you for a Hearth Secret, Make sure your buddy who your trying to reach has a set hearth secret, type his hearth secret in and you should be able to port to him.

also the map wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't missing huge areas Dx

Check the main map thread. I believe if you upload your map data and tag it with a name, the person hosting the map will give you the location of the data uploaded. Plus, you'd be helping fill in blank areas of the map.
