Palisade Gate

How can I possibly finish this palisade with a gate? I was wondering if I had to make another starter point on the opposite side or can I like make the gate and continue around?

a post has to exist on both sides of the gate before the gate
so unless you can go around the cliff yall need a 2nd starter post.

You'll have to make another cornerpost. Unless you'd prefer to make a ram to bust down a section of wall for the gate.
