finding my friend

i'm currently on a party with my friend trying to find them, there is a green arrow showing what i believe is the direction they are in, but when i right click their name and select follow it takes me in a different direction? which direction should i go? the arrow? or following my friend?

The arrow ofcourse if it isn't bugged, try relogging and then making a new party again and see if the arrow points at the same way where it used to.

Whatever direction you start walking when you click on their portrait is the correct direction. I travelled across 4 supergrids earlier and noticed that the arrows would get severely bugged. There would even be times when the [x] of my party member would show up on the minimap as if they were somewhere beside me.

Either departy->reparty every 20 minutes or so to reset it, or just keep following the portrait. That will always be correct.

okie dokie, thx... do you know how the map works? like is north east in the game northeast on the map from the math thread?

i knew that but i ment for the world map in the map thread (the big giant map with white spots everywhere) is it the same direction as in game
but no worries i figured it out
