Destroying someone's Hearth

So, there's a cave outside our fort, like within spitting distance. The only problem is, someone placed their hearth fire there, and then left. I never see them online (their hearth is always white) and they're blocking the cave entrance. We could really use some metal, but this is the only cave we've seen fore quite a while.

I tried to destroy it by hand, but it says "This is not your hearth". If we build a ram, would that be a waste of time, or do we need Vandalism enabled or something?

Can someone own two claims at once? If no, we'll need to shuffle our resources a little.

no, you can only own one claim at a time. you'll probably want to claim the opening of the cave anyway.
