Palisade Paving

Hi,

I was wondering if it is a bad Idea to put a 2 wide paved path outside of a palisade.

I want to be able to drag a cart around the outisde of my wall quickly, but am not sure if this is a good idea. Here is some background info:

I stupidly didn't clear the forest around the palisade before it was built, and more stupidly didn't move all the log inside of the walls before I finished the wall. so i now have a large ammount of logs sitting close to my palisade that I want to move inside. Is there any reason that I should not pave the area around the wall?

I am paving a apth inside to drag a cart around full of rapair materials, but would like one outisde to more easily transport log from the surrounding woods into the palisadeed area.

Paving the area is a lot faster than slow hauling a lot of logs. But stuff like this is really your discretion xD There's no harm at all. Try it and see!

Cool, Thank you for the answers, I was a bit worried that I might be making it easier for somebody to make a ram by paving. =D

But I really want the "road" of sorts outside for eaiser hauling.

paving doesn't make it any easier to build a ram. also, you might just want to make a dirt road, it's much faster than paving and lets you move carts at speed 2.
