A couple of questions about things that spawn...

First off, sometimes I enter my house, get out, and find new plants that weren't there before. My exp*per is around 300 now, so I see a lot of stuff. But does the game chck for what I see or don't everytime I enter the area like that?
Also, about animals, is it the same thing? And are animals bound to appear on set terrain, ie:Chickens on grassland, always generated? It happens that I have a rather small grassland area around me, you could say some 200-ish tiles of surface, probably more, but it's not gigantic. And, pretty much everytime I log in, I always find animals there, be it chickens or aurochs.
I am curious about how the spawning mechanisms of animals work...

Yes, it re-checks every time you enter and exit an area.
Animals spawn and despawn with map spawns and despawns so if you leave an area for a sufficient amount of time (15-30 minutes) and no one else keeps the map open, animals will spawn and despawn.

Do note, that inside a house or cave is a different area. You can enter a house, wait 30 minutes, and leave, and it'll respawn all the goodies.
