I own too much land

And cannot see how far my claim streches, how can I find out, and if I have to, what is an easy to download custom client?

If you click on your claim post it will stay highlighted until you walk off the claim so you could just do that, but having a custom client is recommended. I personally like Enders.

Edit the run.bat, and add a line after the first line, that has the path of your java install's bin. For me, running Windows 7 64 bit...
Code: Select all
.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
PATH=%PATH%;"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin"
start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

is my run.bat
Replace the path with your path as needed, then run the run.bat and it'll open the client.

Also, you can click the little flag icon above the minimap, and it shows claims, so you can go view it there. It also helps to have a friend, if you're fine-tuning the claim size to include a wall or a certain area, who can stand at the end of the claim and tell you how far to extend.

Ctrl+L shows all claims, although you have to turn it off (same command) before you can move around. Clicking with it on will attempt to highlight a spot to make a claim. This is an old feature that isn't functional anymore, but the display part still works.
