Finding Really High-q nodes

After prolonged searching today, I could barely find q30+ nodes, such as clay, water and soil. How do the superpowers in this game manage to so easily find and claim really high-q nodes?

They don't, they spend the first two or three weeks endlessly searching every grid in the world and even then they miss a lot of them. Lots of people searching as far and wide as possible.
