Animal Spawning on Claims

Postby a_Ficus » Mon Apr 04, 2011 4:38 am

I was under the impression that animals would not spawn on claimed land. Is this correct?

I ask because I had a rabbit next to my door when I left my cabin earlier today. My land is claimed in all directions past my palisade, and all gates were closed.

Boar, Deer, Bear, Auroch, and Mouflon definitely will not. Rabbits and Chickens don't either, I think. It's possible one just jumped through your wall/past your hill. They do that.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew rabbits could go over hill ridges, but thought palisades were a bit more solid.

I had two spawns of aurochs in my village since w5, just near idol and with closed gates... it seems something has changed (or is bugged).
I enjoyed it btw, steak at home is good. But i hope bears won't do the same.

They spawn in village claims, just not personal claims.
