How do i milk

Hi..I have a cow(female) with quantity 10 of milk..Even if i use a empty bucket and right click i cant get milk. I have the animal husbandry and cant still get it to work..Tried search the forums and wiki and even google on it..Can someone bring any light to my problem thanx...

I think you mean "quality" 10 milk; I don't think there's a meter that tells you whether they have any milk ready.

Anyway, cows need to be pregnant before they can give milk. Put a bull in the same place as your cow for a while. The Cow article on the wiki seems to have some stats on the subject; note you'll need a lot more food for milk-producing cows, and their calves will need some of the milk.

The cow i have is pregnant..and the food trough is filled up to full...both of them..on the wiki it say i need to right click on the cow with a bucket..when doing so nothing happens..Do the cow need to give birth first before i can start get milk...?

I wasn't sure, but yeah, it seems they have to give birth before they'll start producing. (Wiki: "Heifers, cows that have not give birth yet, do not produce milk") Guess you'll have to wait a couple days.

Also, I notice the screenshot does include "milk quantity", but I think that's just the maximum capacity (not sure whether it can change; it might just be a vestigial feature).
