Items on skeleton

Some days ago I had a terrible accident because of lags I was stuck walking in place and a boar found and mauled me in two hits. Shit happens!
But I Just finished my palisade so when I Inherited my body with the key was at the other side of palisade which means I griefed myself
Fed up with the situation I didn't play for few days. Here my question
How fast the body decompose ? and is it possible for my stuff to still be there even if my body become a skell ? It desnt seems that someone took them from the carcass because nothing was lost and gate is still closed .

I'm not sure how long it takes for a skeleton to decompose, but I believe it's within one (real) day. When it does, all its stuff will drop to the ground; it's lootable by anyone (unless it's on claimed land), and the items will decay like anything else thrown on the ground (again, probably less than one real day).

Sounds like you might need divine intervention to get out. Or unclaim the land and let your walls decay, I guess.

Bodies take aprox 1hr (Real) to decompose exploding all items on it onto the ground around it.

Most likely if the map reloads/unloads the items on the ground will most likely be lost if it hasnt been picked up. Not sure the natural decay of some items.

PMing Jorb/Loftar (I forget which) was the traditional method of escaping sealed walls, last time I checked. I last checked a year ago, but I can't find any posts that say otherwise, so yeah.
