What sort of combat stat do I need to fight Aurochsen/mouflons? (Don't recall it being in the guide)

Also, TechxKnight's taming guide says you can tame with 1 combat stat provided you evil eye, but after you use quell the beast, doesn't the animal attack you again later, with a full att bar?

Find shallow water and tame from there, If animal wont hit you you can tame without problem and you dont even need UA at all. Just correct moves and time... and rope ofc

So I used quell once, now its been in combat with me for about 20 mins, doing nothing except following me around. Why can;t I use quell again? I thought it was only 10-15mins before it would attack me again?

It's been anywhere from 6-20 minutes for me before. Sometimes the animal bucks before you can turn away, other times they sit there for weeks staring at you.
