Are foxes a lot tougher this world?

I just initiated combat with a fox for the first time this world with 60 UA and it completely shreded my defence and did full damage as if i had no defence beforehand. Is this a bug or are foxes far tougher than they used to be?

hope full for wolf disguised as foxes, was it laggy, or it might have been a glitch??

If you were moving, or moved even slightly when it attacked, doing so negates your defense bar completely.
