Can't craft Bunny Slippers

So I got bored with the village I was apart of and decided to create an alt and try hermitting in this world. Things are going pretty good so far. I've set up camp in a secluded area and cone cows are my best friends.

I've acquired a couple of rabbit furs and decided that I would like some nice bunny slippers. Checked the wiki page for it and it says I only needed to learn cloth making. I learned it...but I've yet to see the option to craft bunny slippers. Any idea why the option isn't there?

Did you DRY the furs? I remember reading that they have to be dried. If you did, I dunno, Only played 5-8 hours total so far, enough to catch rabbits, dry them, then make slippers + Base-Camp

Right, the rabbit hide needs to be dried first.

Also, try to remember that the unlocks can bug up sometimes. If you did get everything, you might need to log out and back in for the recipe to actually show up.

Also, often times you have to actually find the stuff yourself (as in, catch a rabbit, butcher it, etc). Which is terribly annoying.

No "often" about it. You always have to get discovery LP for the item to be able to craft with it.

Oh. That might be the case then. Because I already shelled out the lp for cloth making. The rabbit furs were already dried when I took them. So maybe I'll have to stumble upon a rabbit myself and dry the fur...dang. Thanks for the responses in any case.

Dry furs are discovered when you pull them off the drying rack.
