Found this thread while looking for an answer to my question, which is somewhat related (and no other threads matched my issue, so I'll just post here).

So we've claimed an area around a cliff. That is, we decided we liked the cliff, and made it part of our claimed area. (It's best not to ask for logic from my family....)

Anyway, in the process of clearing trees (both for materials and to make room), some of them fell across the cliff side. This, of course, makes those logs both un-lootable (un-pick-up-able?), as well as unable to be interacted with (to turn into boards, blocks, etc). Therefore, we have a very lovely cliff... with logs all along it.

So although the original poster's question has been answered (short, sweet, and to the point -- I like it), I have another question. Is there any way to destroy / get at those logs? Or do we have to suffer with staring at them until the developers decide to destroy the world? :)

You'll be staring at them until World 6......

Doh!

Well, thanks for the answer, at least. It isn't like they affect anything. It's just messing with my OCD-ness. -_-

At the beginning of the world loftar removed every log lying on the floor due to griefers chopping down every tree in sight. Though doing so now won't cause them to do it again since people leave hq logs on the floor and will get pissed if they suddenly disappeared.
