Make a Feather Duster

I have 5x chicken feathers, a taproot, a stinging nettle and a block of wood in my inventory.
I have carpentry skill points and the purchasable skill.

I go to crafts->curiosities and I don't see the feather duster.

How do I make a feather duster? Do I need some other skill? Is there some discovery I did incorrectly? I've caught chickens in the wild and butchered them and also caught and butchered domesticated chickens. What gives?

It takes bone glue if I remember right.

edit : Or not. Is it me or has there been some changes on some curios requirements ? I am pretty sure I wasn't able to build shewbread with cberrywax yesterday.

Candle berry wax should be usable on everything regular wax can be used on. Never bothered to make shewbread though so I have no idea if it wasn't an option before. I've also never bothered to make a feather duster so I don't know what you're missing. Hopefully you've discovered all of those materials on that character? That is the most common cause of problems crafting/building things.

I'm not sure how to tell if something was discovered.

I foraged taproot, so I think I must have 'discovered' it.
I removed several stumps and chopped up some logs into blocks, so I think I 'discovered' those.
I butchered/caught botch wild and domesticated chickens, so are those 'discovered'?

So I don't know why but after posting this thread I can now make feather dusters. All I did was bake some pies/breads...

The recipes don't necessarily update properly. Some times you have to log out and back in after making the requisite discoveries before the recipe shows up. Sometimes if you're off doing something else, they'll just pop up, too.

actually, this one is already explained on the top page of the curio thread.
feather duster is said to require "animal husbandary" skill.
